College is more than just teachers and classes — it's also about the other things that contribute to your quality of education. Here are three great amenities offered at Collins College.
1. Campus-wide WiFi. As a big time laptop junkie, I can't imagine any amenity being more important than having WiFi access for my computer. Heck, I choose my coffee shops by this feature, so why would I settle for less in my education?
2. Scholarships. Collins College offers some generous scholarships — their website states that they give away over $100,000 per year in scholarships. Now I don't know about you, but with tuition rates skyrocketing I'm not sure I could even afford college without a little help... So scholarships are definitely one of the biggest pluses on my list!
3. Career assistance. Collins College also has a career services department to help students and graduates land jobs in their chosen field. And yes, I said "students and graduates." Collins doesn't make you graduate first in order to get this benefit. The department helps current students find jobs and/or internships, depending on what you need. The earlier you launch your career, the better — why wait for graduation?
These are three things that — in my opinion, at least — make a big difference in the quality of one's education. You aren't getting enough from your education if you can't enjoy it and make the most of it!
