LEEDs Certification is similar to being a Realtor

When I first became an architect there was no such thing as leeds certification. Today, however, more and more clients seem to be coming into the shop asking about it. Mind you, I have nothing against being energy efficient, and designing green buildings. The challenge is that now we have to go out and get some new certifications.

Spending that time, of course, takes time away from the paying projects. And that means that the entire business suffers. This may just be one of those bullets we have to bite in order to compete over the long run. As word of LEED certified buildings is spread amongst the general population, it becomes one of those standards that are simply looked upon as being required to do business.

Take for instance, a Realtor. These are just licensed real estate agents that have passed examinations and can call themselves licensed Realtors. The same goes with LEED training. Fortunately for us, there is a nearby Everblue Training Institute where we are going to be able to attend a number of courses that will prepare us for the various examinations. The success rate of first time test takers at this school makes me have the good feeling we'll not have as much down time as I might have been concerned with originally.

Learning About Human Movement

When I was a teenager, I took a real interest in bodybuilding. I read a lot of magazines like Muscle and Fitness, Flex, and others, and I hoped that I would look like Arnold Schwarzenegger someday. He was my hero and inspiration, and I used him for motivation when it came to my workouts.

But after a car accident in 2002, my dreams of being a professional bodybuilder were shattered. The damage that was done to my body was going to prevent me from ever doing any heavy lifting again, so it was time for me to rethink my game plan. I was in college at the time in kinesiology, so I considered pursuing this path further.

Now, I am just finishing up my Human Movement Graduate degree online and I have a job lined up to work with Olympic athletes to help them perfect their performance. I am really looking forward to it and it should be a rewarding experience especially when we get to go to the games.
Though I won’t be able to be a bodybuilder, helping athletes to maximize their performance will be really rewarding. I will be able to share my experiences and what I have learned from my degree from ATSU to help them be the best they can be.

Frames as Gifts

Diploma frames are a very popular gift at the campus book store where I work. They come in a variety of different colors and some also have logos on them of the university. In fact, I would say that the university diploma frame is the best selling frame that we have. Diploma fames often come with a mat already in the frame sized correctly to the size of a diploma from the university. It is kind of a no brainer to get one of these as a gift because it is something that will be used in all likelihood.

There are other options to personalize the frame. Some people add engraved plaques with their major or date of graduation, while some just get the frame itself engraved. When you are working with pliable materials like wood or metal it is easier to make them look the way that you want. Frames are an excellent gift because of their versatility. Most people would use a frame to show off a great accomplishment such as that symbolized by a college diploma. I think most people are proud of how much work they put into college and a diploma frame is an excellent way to let the world know.

Your Golf School Should Have a Transfer Program

You might think that you would only ever attend one golf school in your lifetime. Once you start going to golf school, however, you may discover a number of reasons that you would be interested in continuing your golf education at a school other than the one where you started your path to golf instruction. As a result of this, it is important to choose a golf school that is going to offer the opportunity to easily transfer to other schools if that's something you do decide that you want to do.

A major reason that people transfer from one golf school to another is that they want to continue their education at a more advanced school than the one at which they started. Many people interested in pursuing careers in golf will start out at the most affordable school that they can find. To get into higher-level careers in golf, such as a pro golf career, these people may need to attend a better school than those that are the least expensive. People who decide they really like golf as a career choice may then opt to transfer to a new school. Being able to do so without losing credits helps to make this approach to golf education affordable and accessible.
